Firstly, in order to begin your installation of the Git workflow and coding tool GitHub Desktop, take this link to go to GitHub Desktop's official website: GitHub Desktop's Website

Now that your on GitHub Desktop's website, please click on the button located in the middle of the page in purple listed as "Download for Windows (64-bit)".

After you have clicked on the "Download for Windows (64-bit)" button, you should notice that the installer has begun downloading. After it has finished downloading, which takes around a few seconds, go into your downloads page. This can be done ether by selecting the downloads page of your browser which can be found by selecting the three dots at the top right corner of the screen and clicking downloads, or by going to your downloads page directly by opening your file explorer and clicking downloads.

From your downloads page, you should now see a GitHub Desktop exe file, this is the installer you have just downloaded, click on this file to begin installing the application.

Now you should see a page welcoming you to GitHub Desktop. Congratulations! You have now successfully installed the newest version of the Git modification application GitHub Desktop. To continue the setup for your newly installed program follow the steps below.
