Mac

1. Navigate to the website https://desktop.github.com/

   
2. Select your operating system.

3. If you have a Mac, for example

   • click the Download for macOS button.

     
   • Click on the GitHub Desktop icon that appears in your downloads and then select Open if prompted.

     
   • From here, GitHub Desktop will download. To check if it was successful, just search for the application on your computer and it should appear.
